This font was inspired by the bustling atmosphere of Peckham arches. Throughout multiple visits, i observed what I could see, feel and hear within the space, from the constant movement of people to the sounds of music, voices and trains. The variety of independent shops also influenced my thinking. These observations helped me understand Peckham Arches as a place full of energy and contrast. This led me to the idea of creating each letter of my typeface as a different sensation, allowing the font to reflect the dynamic, lively and unpredictable character of the environment.
