When you walk to Camberwell Green, the first thing you see are two towers facing each other. Old austere Victorian banks, they stood the test of time like Ozymandias' two remaining legs, little left of their former glory but delicately carved ornaments on classical facades, and their high windows hinting at the fortified industrial vaults they still stand on. Old Bank is a typeface that grapples with their history and architecture - standing high and proud on thick slabs and inspired by the classical roman letters that used to adorn them, thick and thin, delicate and blunt.
