Mullions is a display typeface based on the structure of the Gothic-inspired window of the White Cottage. Its letterforms are found within the window structure and particularly in its vertical, horizontal and arched mullions. The main focus of this type's design is readability as well as consistency across the typeface, using window as a fixed system for constructing each letter, number and symbol. This grid-based approach creates harmony and repetition within the typeface, while the curved arches soften the structure. The contrast between rigid geometry and softer forms gives the typeface its unique character.
