Mark's creation is a tribute to the Peckham theatre and its legacy of cultivating children's confidence and imagination. The theatre was a place where the children grew and transformed. One day, sitting and watching the building, I came across a handprint and it stuck with me, so I decided to use it as an important feature of the font. The handprint is a mark of collaboration - a space created by many and for many. The children grow and take this into their lives, so the theatre has an emotional mark on them. This notion of leaving a mark is what inspired the name Mark - memories that leave a mark on you.
