Inspired by Our Old Lady Of Sorrows, Fides, meaning Faith in Latin, is a display typeface formed from arches and squares, it was designed to reflect the structural similarities of the church, as well as imitate the Gothic revival architectural style. With pointed arches in the A and stern columns in the H with a contemporary look and feel due to the bubbly design. Therefore, combining elements of the past with a modern outlook, as Peckham continues to evolve in terms of architecture, some places, like this church remain almost untouched by gentrification.
