Axe font was created for Lumberjack Coffee, a local caf' that takes pride in sustainability and supporting small artists. This typeface is based on the existing san-serif font of Lumberjack with additional details that make it unique. One of the biggest changes in the font was inspired by the Axe stamps that are imprinted by Lumberjack on their customer loyalty cards. Those axes were turned into serifs and are the highlight of the typeface. "Axe" is supposed to represent the coziness and warmth of the cafe, whilst maintaining its strict nature.
