ARCUS

By Jacky Yip

The 'Arcus' design is inspired by the architecture of the South London Gallery. As the gallery is a traditional Victorian building that exclusively exhibits contemporary art, the design blends traditional and modern elements through the use of arches and irregular shapes. My aim is to create a typeface that reflects both the traditional and contemporary character of the South London Gallery. The concept behind the design is that the letters are mainly formed from straight and curved lines that create arch like structures. I hope this typeface will be used in any kind of artical or any literature.
