Agora 09 is a multi-characteristic font that combines formal and contextual characteristics of the Bussey Building into one distinct typeface. These components include: a window from the industrial era used as a matrix grid, textures and patterns from a variety of the building’s surfaces and my own interpretation of combining these parts due to the creative environment of the building. My font captures the raw and natural integrity of the building while encapsulating the energy and vibrancy of the people who work there. It visualises the link between location and personal style in to type.
